The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d'Ivoire 2023 ended on 11 February 2024 with the victory of the host country: Côte d'Ivoire.

An edition full of goals, surprises and twists and turns

From Korhogo to Abidjan, from Bouaké to San Pedro via Yamoussoukro, the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d'Ivoire 2023 has left behind a great harvest of goals, the largest in the history of the competition with 119 goals. Surprisingly, but indicative of the surprises experienced throughout the competition, none of the countries that finished the group stage in 1st position were in the last four. The final pitted Nigeria against Côte d’Ivoire, respectively second and third in Group A, while Equatorial Guinea, who ended first in the group, finished their journey in the round of 16 against Guinea.
